God Loves A Cheerful Giver!
It is an act of FAITH
Making a decision to tithe and give donations is a matter of acting in faith.
For most of us just the necessities of life consume almost all of our income. However, we must step out in faith to tithe and support the work of the Church; preaching the gospel and nourishing the Church.
Tithing is a scriptural obligation which none of us who are called by God can afford to neglect. Proverbs 3:9-10 9 Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: 10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
God will bless those whose faith is actively backed up by good works. Everyone who tithes should do so willingly and should first diligently pray and seek God’s wisdom in the matter of participating in tithing and on how much to give in offerings.
Above all, all tithes and offerings should be given with pure motives and an attitude of worship to God and service to the body of Christ. One should give what they have decided in their heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
